Empowering Youth Through Opportunity: A Transformative Policy Forum in Charsadda

In a meaningful step toward youth empowerment, Volunteer Force Pakistan, in collaboration with Helping Hand Organization Charsadda, successfully organized a Youth Policy Forum in Shab-e-Qadar, a historically underserved area of District Charsadda.

The event gathered around 100 students, young professionals, and community members, all united by a shared goal: bridging the gap between education and industry demands. It created a space where ideas were exchanged, experiences were shared, and practical solutions were explored to help young individuals better prepare for real-world careers.

Addressing the Education to Industry Gap

One of the central themes of the forum was the disconnect between academic learning and market needs. Participants actively discussed how students can equip themselves with relevant, in-demand skills to thrive in today’s competitive environment. The conversation highlighted the importance of practical exposure, digital literacy, and continuous learning.

Inspiring Voices and Real Opportunities

The forum featured several influential speakers who not only shared their insights but also brought real opportunities for attendees:

  • Usman Raza Jolaha, President of Volunteer Force Pakistan, emphasized the growing importance of digital skills and encouraged youth to actively seek and seize opportunities in the digital space.
  • Fatima Tahir, Country Director of Volunteer Force Pakistan, shared her personal journey, inspiring especially young women to step forward and pursue their ambitions with confidence.
  • Sohaib Mateen, CEO of Mateen Group, announced five internships focused on digital marketing training, offering students a chance to gain hands-on experience.
  • Atif Wali, CEO of Forexism, introduced free trading courses aimed at building financial awareness and skills among students.
  • Amna Khokhar provided an exciting opportunity for women entrepreneurs by announcing an internship along with a free stall at the National Leadership and Industry Summit in Lahore.
  • Wazeer Khan, CEO of Digitize21, also contributed by announcing internship opportunities for aspiring students.

Creating Real Impact

What made this forum truly impactful was its focus on action. The internships and training opportunities announced during the event are designed to equip young individuals with practical skills, enhance their confidence, and improve their employability.

These initiatives are more than just opportunities. They represent hope for many young people in underserved communities who often lack access to such platforms. By connecting them with industry leaders and real-world experiences, the forum has taken a strong step toward shaping a more skilled and empowered generation.

A Step Toward a Brighter Future

The Youth Policy Forum in Shab-e-Qadar stands as a powerful example of how collaboration, awareness, and opportunity can create meaningful change. It not only highlighted challenges but also provided practical pathways for growth.

As more such initiatives take place, the future looks promising for the youth of Pakistan. With the right guidance, skills, and opportunities, they are well on their way to building successful and impactful careers.
